Painted Collage Series (1971- 1980)

The format had been established during my graduate school years. It involved the use of photo reproductions and objects found around the studio as source materials for a series of paintings. The juxtaposition of diverse subject matter was woven together into harmonious designs, which one critic call a "soft edge realism"
