The Grave Site of the George Calvert Family

As traffic on East/West Highway speeds by the grave site of the Calvert Family, the scene below the bridge is one of tranquillity and peace. I was alone, yet I could feel the spirit of Calvert souring above the lush green landscape. Rosalie appeared before me. Or was it the flutter of a birds wing? Or was it my dream?

This is a scene near my home.  I have often visited there to ponder and to enjoy the quiet. It is the town center but many of the old buildings are now awaiting the restoration or the wrecking ball. It is not unlike the site at Forest Glen, in that its continued existence remains in the hands of a world of pragmatism.
