Margaret Tintle attends the Atelier Royal weekly drawing sessions These are drawings and paintings which she did from direct observation. All of the drawings or paintings done at the Atelier are done free hand and the focus is always upon accuracy and believability. Margaret practices at the Atelier for self enrichment. She wants to improve artistic skills and knows the best way to do that is with the long sustained study. The Atelier is one of the few places in the area which encourages the 'long study' which enables the artist to push the drawing or painting beyond the sketch, beyond the design.
