Faith Leahy/Thielke regularly attends the Atelier Royal weekly drawing sessions These are drawings which she did from live models. All of the drawing or painting done at the Atelier is done free hand and the focus is always upon accuracy and believability. Faith practices at the Atelier for self enrichment. She wants to improve her drawing skills and knows the best way to do that is with the long sustained study. The Atelier is one of the few places in the area which provides the 'long pose' which enables the artist to push the drawing or painting beyond the sketch, beyond the design.
